2. PET Scan
(VERBAL PRESENTATION) (RECOMMENDATION PREPARED)
(The Knights of Columbus of Sudbury have requested to make a presentation and are asking the Policy Committee to encourage citizens to sign a petition promoting a PET Scan for the Sudbury area. They are also requesting that the Committee pass a resolution urging that the Minister of Finance place the PET Scan at the Sudbury Regional Hospital and prioritize it in his spring budget.)

3. Health Care Connect Presentation
(ELECTRONIC PRESENTATION) (FOR INFORMATION ONLY)
(The Health Care Connect Program is offered by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care through the North East Community Care Access Centre. This program helps people who are without a family health care provider to find one in their community. The program identifies doctors or nurse practitioners who are accepting patients and links them with people who are in need or care.)

4. Connect the Creek Action Plan
(ELECTRONIC PRESENTATION) (FOR INFORMATION ONLY)
(In June 2010, City Council approved the folloiwng resolution mandating that the Connect the Creek Partnership develop a 4-Year Action Strategy for the completion of the 18 km Junction Creek Waterway Park (JCWP).

"Therefore be it resolved that Council support the objective of completing the Junction Creek Waterway Park within the next four (4) years and that the City of Greater Sudbury provide continued support from staff to enable the community to realize this objective and that an Action Plan be brought back to Council early in 2011 which would detail key elements of the project, finance requirements, funding opportunities and stakeholder involvement to meet this challenge."

Council had requested that the Committee present an update on the 4-Year Action Strategy, as directed by this resolution.)

6. Report dated February 2, 2011 from the General Manager of Infrastructure Services regarding Agreement for Exemptions to Load Restriction By-Law.

(This report requests Council's authorization to enter into agreements with individual companies for exemptions to half load restrictions in exchange for compensation. In 2010, a Pilot Project was undertaken as a potential source of revenue.)
