This presentation provides an update regarding the Complete Streets Guide.

This presentation provides an overview of the 2021 capital program, 2021 project highlights and carry-over projects, as well as 2022 tender schedule highlights.

This report and presentation provides a recommendation regarding the repeal and replacement of the Right-of-Way Tree By-law, 2011-243, as well as the creation of a street tree policy, which will lead to enhanced administrative efficiency.

This report provides a recommendation regarding the findings of the mattress diversion pilot project along with key challenges associated with the disposal of mattresses in landfill sites.

This report provides a recommendation regarding detailed site selection criteria, a list of recommended sites and  the number of automated speed enforcement units to be initially deployed for an Automated Speed Enforcement Program.

The report provides a recommendation regarding safety concerns along a section of St. Agnes Street, Azilda.

As presented by Councillor Leduc:


WHEREAS residents of Stonegate Drive experience a significant volume of speeding non-local traffic cutting through to get to the Adanac Ski Hill on Attlee Avenue, creating safety concerns;


AND WHEREAS cut through traffic could be deterred if left hand turns from Stonegate Drive to Beatrice Crescent were prohibited;


THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Greater Sudbury direct that left hand turns from Stonegate Drive to Beatrice Crescent be prohibited, and that staff prepare a by-law to amend Traffic and Parking By-law 2010-1 to implement the change and install the necessary signage to alert drivers.

This report provides information regarding requirements to maintain a drinking water license and gives a “top down” update on the health of our drinking water system for the year 2021.

This report provides information regarding winter maintenance activities for the 2021-2022 season up to and including April 2022.
