Finalization of the 2016 Operating and Capital Budget
(RESOLUTION PREPARED)
THAT the City of Greater Sudbury approves the 2016 Budget in the gross amount of $_____ and a municipal tax levy of $_____, which represents a _____% municipal tax increase after assessment growth, subject to Property Tax Policy;
AND THAT the one-time options identified in the ranking result be funded by the ______ in the amount of $_____;
AND THAT the City of Greater Sudbury accepts the following Boards’ operating and capital budgets:
•The City’s share of the Nickel District Conservation Authority’s budget in the amount of $700,500
•The City’s share of the Sudbury and District Health Unit’s budget in the amount of $5,917,248
•The Greater Sudbury Police Service’s budget in the amount of $53,549,719;
AND THAT the City of Greater Sudbury accepts the 2016 Capital Budget in the amount of $_____ which is funded as follows:
•Contributions from the Operating Budget of $_____
•Contributions from Water and Wastewater User Fees of $_____
•Contributions from Federal Gas Tax of $_____
•Contributions from Provincial Gas Tax of $_____
•Contributions from CGS Reserves and Reserve Funds of $_____
