Call to Order

  

The meeting commenced at 3:00 p.m.

A roll call was conducted prior to the commencement of moving into closed session.

Closed Session

  

  • The following resolution was presented:

    THAT the City of Greater Sudbury moves to Closed Session to deal with one (1) Security of Property/Personal Matters (Identifiable Individual(s)) item regarding an incident in the Corporate Services Department in accordance with the Municipal Act, 2001, par. 239(2)(a) and (b). 

    CARRIED

    At 3:02 p.m., the Audit Committee moved into Closed Session.

At 5:20 p.m., the Audit Committee recessed.

At 5:29 p.m., the Audit Committee commenced the Open Session.

Matters Arising from Closed Session 

Councillor Cormier, Chair of the Closed Session, reported that Council met in Closed Session to deal with one (1) Security of Property/Personal Matters (Identifiable Individual(s)) item regarding an incident in the Corporate Services Department in accordance with the Municipal Act, 2001, par. 239(2)(a) and (b).  One direction was provided to staff.

Rules of Procedure

Councillor McIntosh moved to defer the Routine Management Report to a future Audit Committee meeting due to time constraints.

CARRIED

  • THAT the City of Greater Sudbury approves the recommendations as outlined in the report entitled “Audit of Information Technology Governance Processes” from the Auditor General, presented at the Audit Committee meeting on March 26, 2024.
