For the purpose of convenience and for expediting meetings, matters of business of repetitive or routine nature are included in the Consent Agenda, and all such matters of business contained in the Consent Agenda are voted on collectively.


A particular matter of business may be singled out from the Consent Agenda for debate or for a separate vote upon the request of any Councillor. In the case of a separate vote, the excluded matter of business is severed from the Consent Agenda, and only the remaining matters of business contained in the Consent Agenda are voted on collectively.


Each and every matter of business contained in the Consent Agenda is recorded separately in the minutes of the meeting.

This report provides a recommendation regarding Healthy Community Initiative (HCI) funding requests. By-law 2018-129 requires Council’s approval for all eligible HCI Capital fund requests exceeding $10,000 and Grant requests exceeding $1,000.

This presentation provides an update regarding transit services initiatives following the adoption of the Transit Action Plan in 2019.

As presented by Councillor Parent:


WHEREAS the City of Greater Sudbury has approved the Aquatic Service and Facility Review as the foundation for guiding future decisions relating to aquatic infrastructure;


AND WHEREAS the Aquatic Service and Facility Review recommends that the City implement the recommendations of the Kalmo Beach 10-year Plan, prioritizing those projects that improve circulation, accessibility, parking, wayfinding and support facilities;


THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Greater Sudbury directs staff to prepare a business case for the 2026 budget deliberations, outlining the costs associated with completing studies associated with circulation, accessibility, parking, wayfinding and support facilities enhancements, including the identification of potential sources of funds;


AND THAT as part of the preparation of the business case, that staff consult with the Accessibility Advisory Panel.

This report provides information regarding a quarterly update with respect to operational issues, activities, and accomplishments in support of resident safety goals, objectives, and good news stories for Pioneer Manor.

This report provides information regarding accessible parking improvements required at municipal arenas, including estimated costs, in response to Resolution CES2024-13.

This report provides information regarding possible solutions to address the current challenges in maintaining Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) staffing, including partnerships with educational institutions, enhanced internal training programs, and potential funding opportunities.
