The following resolution was presented:

    THAT the City of Greater Sudbury enters into a sole source funding agreement with Elizabeth Fry Society of Sudbury to continue the operation of a low barrier shelter for women and gender diverse people from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023 as outlined in the report entitled “Progress Report - Service Enhancements for Persons Experiencing Homelessness” from the General Manager of Community Development, presented at the Community Services Committee meeting on June 20, 2022.

    THAT the City of Greater Sudbury enters into a sole source agreement with the Canadian Mental Health Association- Sudbury/Manitoulin to operate the Off the Street low barrier emergency shelter program starting October 31, 2022, for a five-year period as outlined in the report entitled “Sole Source – Off the Street Emergency Shelter Program” from the General Manager of Community Development, presented at the Community Services Committee meeting on June 20, 2022.

    THAT the City of Greater Sudbury enters into a sole source agreement with the Centre de Santé Communautaire du Grand Sudbury for the continued delivery of Housing Navigator positions for a two-year term effective January 1, 2023, with two further one-year extension options as outlined in the report entitled “Sole Source of Housing Navigator Services” from the General Manager of Community Development, presented to the Community Services Committee on June 20, 2022.
